The catering service was top notch - Eli ensured the staff was well-prepped with our plan, our guests' needs were tended to effortlessly and everything flowed. There were individual rooms so that your guests can disperse if they want to be somewhere more intimate where they can talk or they can dance in the other room. Our guests complimented the unique touches, like passed apps and drinks after the ceremony and the consistent attention to drink refills. We have not stopped receiving positive feedback and compliments from our guests about the degree of attentiveness they received as well as the exceptional presentation and taste of all the meals. He even helped us with dismantling our arch! The outdoor grounds were beautiful. And Eli and his staff were great listeners, always available, and attentive during the celebration. From our first tasting, to our walkthrough, to the day of, it doesn't get any better. We are from the OC so getting married up in Santa Barbara was a mini destination wedding for us and our guests. Club was simply perfect. Because he was on site, overseeing everything, I was able to socialize and enjoy my daughters wedding without worrying that something was going to be overlooked. All in all, our wedding experience with the Riviera Mansion was a beautiful experience we will never forget, and we're so happy that we chose to make beautiful lifetime memories here. made sure everything was exactly as I wanted it and had some great recommendations to help make our wedding day go smoothly. It was affordable, while still feeling classy and elegant. The food and ambiance are nice. On a scale of 1-10, I would give our experience a 15. Our ceremony was at the beautiful mural room in the Courthouse and then we hosted our reception at the Rivera Mansion University Club. If you are looking for a fabulous venue in Santa Barbara, look no further. He definitely has it under control. The salmon, steak and vegetable entrees were all delicious. My now husband and I have received countless compliments on how perfect the space was. We did our cocktail hour outside on the lawn and a sit down dinner in the dining room. All our guests hailing from California to Pittsburgh loved our intimate wedding. The overall attitude of this venue is doing what it takes to make their brides happy. My husband was in CA, but I was still on the east coast trying to plan this thing and Breanna was so accommodating, patient, and helpful with all of my questions. The food was delicious and all the guests commented on how good it was. The set-up was exactly what I wanted and Eli was very detail oriented. The mansion staff, furthermore, as you would expect, is well acquainted with many wedding service providers around town - DJs, florists etc., - which can help assist in the booking process for outside vendors. We first discovered The Riviera Mansion on a wedding site that listed the best wedding venues in Santa Barbara and we went and visited shortly after (we live in LA). Our only critique was that when the ceremony was in the process of being moved inside (it happened at the last minute), there wasn't enough staff around (coordinators, etc.) Eli, the food director and our main contact during the reception, has a great energy, and right away when I met him I felt that he was totally competent and going to handle everything and let me relax.
