And I go to John Lee Dumas's site and he has a podcast course that I do not want to take. And that is beautiful. I liked the regular paycheck, I liked the fact that I got paid vacations and benefits and all of that. And thats why a lot of people dont start. No one will do it quite like Brooke does it, no one will do it quite like me, and the listener, whoever you are, no ones going to do it quite like you. Amy: Okay. Its not like you have to be Einstein and come up with this great new magical idea. I didn't know what a Facebook ad, but it sounded like something - I didn't know what it was but it sounded like something I should learn about. I started running ads, I built my list from 800 to 10,000 using just that class where she taught me how to run Facebook ads. Yeah, Kara. However, I found myself in my very last nine-to-five job about 14 years ago. I got the editor to help me, I got the resources and support I needed, and I also wrote a really shitty first draft. However, when you drill down on who you want to serve, youre also going to attract people that dont necessarily fit in that, but they like you and they want to work with you. If I say, Go find a woman whos struggling with overdrinking, go find a woman who is struggling with her weight in terms of emotional overeating, all of a sudden, you have a map. You are absolutely going to hit a glass ceiling. Lets put this in perspective. So I started talking to Chris, I'm like, "That is not going to work, so what if we become business partners?".
